this or that

Hello, welcome to deeper an education and recipe space to help support your heath journey.

You’ve read about how I got here, so here is a fun little ice breaker to kick it off.

Coffee or tea? Tea. I broke up with coffee during uni, as it heightened my anxiety. Dandelion latte on oat milk, or a tulsi tea.

Early to rise or late to bed? Late to bed. I’m not a morning person. I have a special (be it small) list of people I will get up early for, but evenings are my favourite.

Dogs or cats? Dogs all the way. I grew up with cocker spaniels, there is something very special about dogs!

Ocean or ski slopes? Ocean. Always the ocean.

Sunrise or sunset? Sunset.

Cooking or being cooked for? Cooking, it’s my therapy. There is nothing better than seeing your loved ones enjoy a tasty meal you’ve prepared for them. I would never say no to someone cooking for me though!

Night out or night in? Night in. Great meal, fabulous music, awesome company, lots of laughs.

Sweet or savoury? Savoury. I’d much prefer a cheese platter than a decadent dessert.

Driver or passenger? Driver.

Be embarrassed or be afraid? Be embarrassed! I’ve done plenty to be embarrassed about. Its created many a funny memory.

The book or the movie? The book and then the movie.

Text message or phone call? Text message.

Picnic or fancy dinner? Picnic.

High intensity training or low intensity training? Low for sure. Walking, swimming or reformer pilates.

Favourite cuisine? Italian, closely followed by Lebanese and Japanese.

Top 6 food ingredients? Lemons, garlic, a decent gluten free pasta, fresh herbs (whatever is on hand), wild caught salmon, and mango.

Favourite drinks? Filtered water. If drinking - a crisp dry white, a Montepulciano (red), or a gin refashioned. However, I rarely drink much anymore.

This was very fun. I could go on and on.

I will be writing more educational pieces on a regular basis on some of my favourite topics including men’s health, male preconception care and more. I’ll delve deeper into this in another post.
